I had my neurological consultation November 2.  The bad news is that the neurologist still thinks I have Parkinson’s.  The good news is that all the testing I did recently, with the exception of the EEG (electroencephalogram), came out unremarkable.

The EEG showed seizure activity in my legs while I’m drowsy or asleep.  He prescribed Gabapentin (Neurontin) for my hand tremors/leg seizures and set up appointments both for me to get a second opinion from a movement specialist (neuropsychologist) and for a long-term memory test.

I have to see him again on December 28, so the whole thing will go on for at least three more appointments and two more months.  I wish it was over with!
